THE BAND ANNOUNCES A NEW RELEASE!
PROJECT will have a new release out by May !

After the critically acclaimed album 'Chapter III', the band returns and goes acoustic (or almost). It's been a few years since the idea of ​​releasing an acoustic album was making its way in the heads of the rockers and following the incessant demands of fans, here it is finally!
You will find band’s classics totally revisited :
'You Keep On Cryin' (2013 - Riding Free) is now a brand new emotional and haunting track.
'Suddenly' (2016 - Chapter III) is included in a punchy and groovy version.
3 new titles show the whole range of the band :
From the ukulele chords of 'Sunshine' to the bluesy 'Said And Done', through the catchy melodies of the feel-good rock song 'Running Out Of Time', the band will surely please the fans and is ready to expand its fanbase!

 
PROJECT IS IN STUDIO!


PROJECT is currently finishing the work in studio for the next EP.
Started at the end of 2018, the recording of PROJECT's next release is now being masterised and almost ready to be manufactured.
This CD contains 5 tracks and will be out by May 2019.

PROJECT is a French hard-rock band from the north of France that was founded in the mid-90s by Philippe Merlen and David Clabaux. PROJECT is a french Rock band from north of France. The music offered is a nice slice of Rock to Hard Rock songs, with some Heavy and Blues elements. Melodic Hard Rock at its best with powerful guitar riffs, mixed with keyboards on many songs, what brings a greater diversity to the music to satisfy all ears. Not to speak of the great melodies which are almost a trademark for the band.
PROJECT was founded in the mid-90s by David Clabaux and Philippe Merlen. Ex-members of well-known french bands (Blackwhite, Kublaïkan) quickly joined the band, which was fully operational in a very short time with many songs written. After many shows in Germany, Poland and in the north of France.
Jérôme Willocq joined the band as a drummer in 1999. After a first EP "Reach for the sky" which received rave reviews from the press, the band decided to take a long break in 2002.
In 2008, the band decided to resume activities.
While the album was in progress, the singer left the band without warning in 2011.
Despite the difficulties encountered, “Riding Free”, was released in April 2013 at Brennus-music
The following year, the bass player, Cédric Legrand was replaced by Thomas Legrand.
In 2015, the band focused on composing a new album named "Chapter III" that contains 11 new songs and a bonus live DVD filmed during the "Riding Free" tour.
The "Chapter III" album got out in may 2016.
In 2019, the band décided to explore slightly different musical horizons in an acoustic EP.

At the beguinning of 2020, the band planned to enter to studio to beguin the recording of their next album, but the pandemic started and stopped the momentum because of the lockdowns.
The recording beguinned between two lockdowns, and among the curfews.
The band has postponed the release of the album also because of the search of the new bass player who finally joined the band at the end of 2022.
Finally, the new album comes out on january 27th, 2023 and is named "The Awakening".
